On October 29th 2016 Nayara and Junior Dasilva welcomed their son Jonah into this world. Baby Jonah was 3 months early, and was delivered by Junior in their home in Marlborough while he was on the phone with 911 dispatchers. Since the delivery Jonah has remained in the hospital under round the clock care. Through this stressful ordeal Junior has kept friends up to date with photos, videos and progress of Jonah’s growth.

Jonah is now home and a little over seven pounds. He will still needs 24/7 monitoring, home care, and oxygen.  He is also on special formula as his organs and intestines are not yer fully developed.

Due to Jonah’s unexpected arrival many things were unable to be planned for including a baby shower. The family is going to need diapers, clothing, wipes and all items associated with the care of a newborn baby boy on top of the added expense of special formula.   Both mom and dad are currently unable to work and must remain home with Jonah for an undetermined amount time.  Please consider giving whatever amount you can to help make their transition home with Jonah a little easier.
