Baby Jasper and Family Lost It All

Hello. My name is Caleb Courtney. I’ve never been involved with a GoFundMe before other than contributing to someone else’s when they are in a time of need. So, this is a first.

Unfortunately, it’s my family in Kentucky that are in need of some help now. My Dad, Step Momma Lisa, baby sister Madison, and her 5 month old baby boy, Jasper, lost everything they own this morning in a house fire in Columbia,Ky. This is devastating for my family, especially watching my Dad pick through the ashes, trying to salvage any belongings that may have been undamaged. The only items he was able to recover unscathed were their wallets, and my Step Momma’s favorite Bible. God was with them this morning, and they were all able to get out of the house safely. Thank God!

My dad had been working a few hours each day after work trying to get the addition finished on their home to accommodate the new baby, Jasper. My beautiful, loving, Stepmother spent every day taking care of Jasper and my sister Brandy’s 1 year old son, Miles. She cared for them grand babies daily in their home, and I know this breaks her heart to pieces.

Im asking all my family, friends, and anyone else that this page reaches to please help them out if you can. They would never ask for help. They don’t know that I’m setting this up for them yet, but I’m hopeful that we can raise some money for them to help replace some of the important things that were lost in the fire. Everything is gone, obviously. Baby Jasper lost all his new Christmas clothing, crib, toys, food, and both babies lost their safe place at Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

Any contribution, no matter what it is, will be greatly appreciated by me, and especially by them. We can do this. And if a prayer is the contribution, please keep those coming, too.
