Baby Henry’s Medical Needs

Kirsten and Devin are expecting their new bundle of joy, Baby Henry to be due on May 10th, 2020. During their gender reveal ultrasound they were told something didn’t look quite right. After months of ultrasounds and specialist Henry was diagnosed with cloacal extrophy. This is a serious diagnosis and Baby Henry will need many surgeries to help him along the way.




In a way that only God could work out, the leading surgical expert from John Hopkins contacted Kirsten and the decision was made for her to deliver baby Henry in Maryland where he can immediately have access to the surgical care he will need.




Along with the surgical cost, Kirsten and Devin will have to stay in MD for a few weeks before he is delivered and do not know how long they will need to remain in MD after. There will be travel fees, hospital fees and of course the time that will be missed from work.
