Baby Gilbert IVF Fund for Alyssa and Tyler
Donation protected
I am writing this with hopes to raise funds on behalf of my Goddaughter Alyssa and her husband Tyler Gilbert for In Vitro Fertilization treatment.
Alyssa and Tyler are two of the most dedicated, goal oriented and loving couples that I know. But for those of you who don’t know them let me share a little bit about their story and the heartbreaking challenge they are facing.
Alyssa (27) and Tyler (27) have been together for 10 years and just celebrated their 2-year wedding anniversary. After graduating high school, they each had a plan and goals that they wanted to achieve. They wanted to establish their careers, buy a home, and start a family. Alyssa graduated with her master’s in education and is now soaring as a kindergarten teacher. Tyler saw a career in law enforcement and after graduating from the police academy he has become a proud and respected deputy for the county of San Bernardino. All while establishing their careers they bought a beautiful home together and love to take their fur babies Harley, and Axel, almost everywhere they go. They have done exactly what they set out to do which is why we are all hoping and praying that with some help they can be blessed with the next step of their plan, having a precious baby to add to their beautiful family.
They have been trying to conceive a baby for 2-years and after much disappointment and many doctor visits and consults, they decided their best chance was In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Because insurance does not cover IVF, Alyssa and Tyler made many sacrifices such as selling their boat and truck they worked so hard for and to enjoy. And with the help, love, and support from family, they were able to start the IVF process. They went through so much the next few weeks physically and emotionally. Ten days of shots, 25 total, blood drawn every other day and 7 eggs retrieved. Grueling to say, at the least, Alyssa and Tyler shared with their family that the IVF treatment was unsuccessful. We couldn’t believe that they were telling us this and all our hearts broke. We could not see why this was happening to two people who so badly want to start their own family. So, our question was, “What’s next?”
A second IVF plan has already been given to them by their doctor, but obviously the financial stress they have been taking on is a lot to bare. They have even applied for a grant for the IVF but didn’t get approved. So, we as a family are all here asking to please help keep hope alive for Alyssa and Tyler. They are very much ready and deserving to be loving parents to a beautiful baby. Let’s please help them in any way possible!!
Thank you and God Bless!
