Hi, my name is Michelle and I am fundraising for my daughter Jordan and her husband Justin. Jordan and Justin have been together for 10 years and married for 2 years. They have been trying for a baby ever since, they were over the moon to find out they were pregnant in February 2024. On their 20 week scan the doctors discovered that Baby G has Transposition of the great arteries, VSD, pulmonary artesia and will require heart surgery within days of his/her birth.

Jordan and Justin will have to relocate to Edmonton at the end of September 2024 for approximately 6 - 8 weeks, Jordan will give birth in Edmonton and then Baby G will have heart surgery and will recover at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton. When Baby G is able, he/she will be transferred to the Calgary Children's hospital.

As you can imagine this has been an emotional rollercoaster for both of them, and now they have the added worry of not working. Jordan's maternity leave does not begin until the Baby G leaves hospital, and Justin will not be working as he supports his wife during this time.
