Esmee Mika Blanchard graced the world with her presence on January 8, 2020 at 10:25 am, after 4 hours of labor. About 2 hours later, a complication was discovered that necessitated her transfer to UCSF. After a battery of tests and scans, another issue was diagnosed.

Esmee will require three surgeries - one on her heart, and two on her GI tract.  She has already had her cardiac surgery at only a few days old.

The other two surgeries on her GI tract will occur several months from now, and will include two different procedures, which may be done at the same time.  The third surgery after she heals and grows a bit more. 

All funds will go to help the new mommy and daddy with the needs of their baby warrior, especially as they await the additional medical  as they transition home.  All donations are appreciated.  Thank you so much for your support!
