Baby Emma Jane: Preemie fundraiser
Donation protected
On February 3, 2019 Robert and Kelsey’s life was blessed with an early surprise. Their daughter Emma Jane was born at 23 weeks and 5 days old. After a night of what seemed to be normal cramping, things quickly took a turn. Kelsey was checked into the maternity section of Owensboro Regional Hospital. From there the doctors did what they could to stop her from dilating any further, in hopes that they could rush her and Emma by ambulance to Norton’s Children’s hospital for a safer delivery. Unfortunately, Kelsey was unable to be moved and at 11:41 AM Emma Jane made her arrival into this world. Immediately after Emma was delivered, she was moved to the Nicu and then picked up from a transport team and flown to Norton’s Children’s Hospital. Kelsey was in stable condition so Rob then left to meet their baby in Louisville. Baby Emma is on her fight for survival and she is having little victories each day. With prayer and the coming together of others we know that Kelsey, Rob, and Emma will win this battle. This will be a long journey ahead for them with medical bills that are just beginning and preparation for the extra assistance that little Emma will need along the way. We are trying to just make the financial burdens as little as possible so that this family can focus on their life together and can have faith that they will all get to return home together soon. If you can find it in your heart to donate any amount at all I know this beautiful young family would greatly appreciate it and if you don’t have the funds to do so, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers from here on out. Thank you.
