Baby Conàn ❤️

Hello world, my name is Conàn Kevin McCormick. I am 5 months old and live in Wishaw, Scotland. Last week my mummy and daddy took me to the doctor because they found a lump on my side. I had some tests done at the hospital, where they quickly identified a tumour and said that I have cancer in my adrenal gland. My family and friends were very very sad to hear this news. I then got admitted to the big hospital for sick children, to have some tests and make sure it hadn’t spread.

On Tuesday, I went for an MRI that scanned every organ in my body and the following morning, the doctors told me I also needed a CT scan. My mummy fed me a bottle before this and I was fast asleep.

Yesterday, Wednesday 27th of November 2024 the doctors and nurses took my mummy and daddy into a meeting and told them some devastating news. The bad bad cancer has spread to both of my kidneys, both my adrenal glands, my stomach, my liver, my chest and it is very close to my spinal cord. My families worlds have fell apart.

Tomorrow I am going for an operation and some biopsy’s before starting very intense chemotherapy to make me better.
