I have set up this Go Fund Me Page with permission from Lisa Canning in order to send help, in a very tangible way, for little baby Colleen Canning who is sick in the hospital with a respiratory virus. Colleen is Lisa and Josh Canning's 8th beautiful baby and was born just a few weeks ago, on January 3, 2020.
All of the money donated will be sent directly to Lisa and Josh Canning to help with gas to and from the hospital, babysitting costs for the rest of the kids while they are at the hospital, and other expenses which may arise (buying food boxes, medical expenses ect...). They just moved to Florida, USA from Ontario, Canada a few months ago, so there are a lot of unexpected expenses which are unforeseeable.
Both Lisa and Josh want to reiterate that support from their family and friends is so helpful and uplifting at this difficult time. Most importantly, prayers for a quick recovery for Colleen is most appreciated!
I will try to update this page as often as I can as more information becomes available.

As many of you know, sweet Colleen was born just 2 weeks ago. Earlier this week, I was concerned about her breathing because it just looked like she was working too hard for someone so small. So we brought her to the ER to get checked out and after all the tests and pokes she has a virus that they really want to make sure does not turn into something more serious.

I hesitated posting because while I share lots of things, I am private about many things, but so many of you here I know are prayer warriors, and we could all use all the prayers we could get.

Can you please storm heaven for healing for Colleen, for strength for Josh and I, and for protection over my kids at home.

She is a trooper this little one, and you know what? So am I. One thing I feel the Lord keeps telling me this year, and I have heard it here whispered in my ear many times in this hospital room, is that I am capable of hard things. Cannings do hard things. And with Him, I know all things are possible."

"I hate this stuff, it’s hard, but our little one Colleen has been in the hospital for 2 1/2 days with a respiratory virus. They’re so fragile at this age. What we can bounce back from easily can be so dangerous for them. Can you say a short prayer for her for me? God gives us medicine and miracles and we trust him with what he gives. Pray for us parents too."
