Hello everyone!
As of October 2nd, we were informed that our son, Lucas Michael Olah, has Plagiocephaly. Because he loves to sleep on his left side and favorites it so much, he will need the use of a special helmet, known as the DOC Band, to correct the shape of his head back to normal. These helmets are highly expensive and around the amount of $2,600. That’s including each visit we have to take him to get measured and re-adjusted. Unfortunately, our insurance company will not approve coverage for this type of durable medical equipment but, the company was able to give us a discounted rate of $2,100!
Because of all the craziness with me being sick and in and out of the hospital the last two months and Anthony staying home to take care of me and Lucas, we are currently in a financial tough spot and are reaching out to our family and friends for any support that you can give us! If you all could donate anything, just a dollar/your morning Starbucks money/or more, we would greatly appreciate it and we know that Lucas would too❣️
