Hey everyone! So I just want to start off by saying this is an extremely sensitive topic to be sharing about, and because it’s not coming directly from Julia – I would appreciate your discretion when commenting, or sharing this information.
Also, I have been given Julia’s permission to share a little bit of their story.
Julia was officially diagnosed with a severe case of endometriosis about a year ago. For most of you, this won’t come as any surprise as you would already know how incredibly painful her cycles are.
Before Cole was born, doctors had told her that she would not likely conceive without “help” – much to her surprise they were wrong, and so entered Cole. He was by all means her miracle baby. And from there on in she wasn’t sure she would ever find herself in a situation that she would again consider children. Enter, Brandon. The love of her life.
They have been trying for 3 years, with little success. As of December 2019, they decided to go ahead with a doctor recommended Artificial Insemination round of IUI. They completed 1 round at the end of 2019. This round was not successful.
Because Julia’s endometriosis and other complicating factors, they are forced to make a life altering decision of whether to keep trying or to make the very difficult decision to stop trying and move on to “healing” Julia’s endometriosis, among other things.
They were in the midst of booking their 2nd round when COVID-19 hit.
As you know, this has put an enormous amount of stress on every single person in the world. Julia and Brandon are both mainly self-employed and with the unpredictability of self employment along with COVID – they knew that they couldn’t risk spending all of their savings at this difficult time.
This is what has lead me to my decision to start this Go Fund Me account.
If there wasn’t such a time constraint on her and her reproductive system, I may not have thought about it. But there is, and if you know Julia and Brandon you know that they would do anything to be able to have 1 biological child between the two of them. Not to mention, Cole has been begging for a sibling since the moment he could talk.
I ask of you this, any amount you can spare at this time would mean the world to her and her family.
I know we are all a little strapped for cash at the moment, and we have no idea what tomorrow will bring. But if you have the means, any support is welcome.
Like I mentioned before, this subject is so sensitive, and it is with a great risk Julia has taken allowing me to publicly announce the struggle she has kept secret for so long. Your discretion is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for reading this, thank you for your support.
Stay Healthy and Happy,
Much love,
(Julia, Brandon, Cole) and Jordan (her sister)
