The Lloyd Park Children’s Charity Baby Bank receives no guaranteed statutory funding , yet in 2024/25, 627 individuals accessed our service for essential items, advice and support across Waltham Forest.

For families facing financial hardship and complex life circumstances, our Baby Bank is a lifeline.

We support pregnant mums, new babies and families in crisis throughout Waltham Forest. Children growing up in poverty face unfair disadvantages from the start, limited access to essentials, fewer opportunities, and greater emotional strain. We work to remove those barriers.

The most requested support this year was access to foodbanks, highlighting the increasing pressures families are under. Most referrals came directly from families themselves, reflecting the trust placed in our service and the safe, welcoming space we provide.

Our approach is simple: we listen and respond.

Whether it’s a parcel of essentials, emotional reassurance, or connection to wider services, we tailor support to each family’s needs, restoring dignity, hope and belonging.

It costs over £50,000 a year just to keep our doors open and the lights on.

We fundraise constantly, but we cannot continue providing services in Waltham Forest without our community.
