After 40 years of wishing to become a mom, my sister, Julye Whitener, achieved her dream. Annebelle Eponine Lee made Julye's dream come true on December 23rd, 2020, when she entered the world in the most perfect way.
On Wednesday, Jan 13, 2021, at 3 weeks old, her precious Annebelle was diagnosed with meningitis and is critically ill. In less than 24 hours she was airlifted from Missoula, Montana to Seattle, Washington and was admitted to the NICU at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
She is there now getting excellent care and with her parents at her side. While further testing is being done, she is on many medications to combat the meningitis and stop the seizure activity. Her prognosis at this time is uncertain.
We are only 3 days into this nightmare, but the medical bills are already adding up, not to mention Annebelle's parents, Julye and Jim are not working in order be with their daughter in Seattle.
It's not easy for my sister to ask for support, so that's why I am reaching out to help them through this unthinkable situation.
The three of them are a strong team and your support will allow them to be able to concentrate only on Annebelle’a health and not have to concern themselves with the additional burden of how it will all be paid for or feel any financial pressure whatsoever.
Your help ease the burden of medical costs so they can focus their energy where it is needed most, with their sweet 3 week old daughter, Annebelle.
Thank you for donating whatever you can and if you can't donate please share this with your circle, knowing it will have a huge impact for this family.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
