BABTA Challenge 2019

Cathay Pacific Airways is challenging the BABTA (Bay Area Business Travel Association) community and their employers to raise funds for the Bay Area Women's and Children's Center (BAWCC) in San Francisco. BAWCC is BABTA's charity of choice for their annual GALA fundraiser to be held December 5, from 5pm to 9pm at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco.
*Those who donate will be eligible for a Lucky Draw for two (2) Cathay Pacific Premium Economy tickets EITHER to Hong Kong with (2) night stays at each luxury Langham Property (6 nights total): Cordis, Eaton & The Langham OR to a single point beyond Hong Kong without hotel. The winner will also be entitled to complimentary parking and wash at Skypark. Each $20 you donate qualifies for an entry in the Lucky Draw (i.e. $100 = 5 chances)! Ask your company to match and send the confirmation of corporate match to [email redacted] or through the GoFundMe page to increase your entry chances accordingly!
**Additionally, a package consisting of two (2) Cathay Pacific Premium Economy tickets with a Black Tie Limo (Bay Area to/from SFO) and a 3 night stay in both Singapore and Bangkok Shangri-la Hotels will be a part of the LIVE AUCTION at the GALA!

About BAWCC:
In the heart of San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood, Bay Area Women's and Children's Center is a unique presence. BAWCC focuses entirely on the needs and issues of low-income families, children, and women in this multi-ethnic, inner-city neighborhood.
BAWCC offers a variety of direct services that address immediate needs as well as long-term stability.
BAWCC also leads advocacy and planning work that has resulted in significant public policies and neighborhood institutions that have tangibly improved the daily lives of thousands of families, children, and women since 1981.
BAWCC's long-term projects have resulted in buildings and playgrounds for children of all ages including:
- Five new playgrounds
- A new recreation center with an adjacent children's playground
- A new 400-student public elementary school with an on-site family center run by BAWCC, which includes a state-of-the-art dental clinic, computer center, counseling rooms, rooftop learning garden, beautiful library, and a welcoming family room where parents, guardians, and family members can gather for classes or just for times to share with other parents
