BABE TO BASE

One man. One mountain. One Vees BBQ.

Damian “Babe” Newby is taking on the trek to Everest Base Camp this December — and he’s doing it for the Vees!

Every step towards Everest will help raise money for the club’s new outdoor BBQ area, creating a space for players, families and supporters to come together after training, matches and tours.

The challenge

Everest Base Camp: 5,364m above sea level

The goal

Raise £5,364 for the Vees outdoor BBQ area

The dream

From our youngest players aged 4, through our youth and girls’ teams, all the way to our adult teams, the Vees brings people together — and this fundraiser will help us create a fantastic outdoor BBQ and social space for the whole club.

Somewhere everyone can eat, socialise and celebrate together.
