Friends and family,

As some of you already know our family has been faced with a devastating diagnosis. Tom-other wise known at “Grandude”- has been diagnosed with stage 3 Metastatic Squamous cell carcinoma. Unfortunately his doctors did not catch it soon enough and it has made its way to his neck, lungs and is active in his lymph nodes. It is very progressed and aggressive and we are hitting it hard with treatments. Currently we are doing radiation and chemo 5 days a week. In addition to his already weakening body, these treatments are weakening him more. We have decided for the safety and well being of Tom and Dale, to move them out of their home they have been in for the last 20 years and into Tina’s house in a trailer so that family is there to help.

As a family we have done what we can/sold what we can to gather funds to get them into a safe, comfortable living environment.

With time off work for these daily appointments, gas costs, medication/supplement costs and helping them maintain bills we have given it our all.

We are hoping that with the help of friends and family we can raise $5,000 to go towards the cost of a trailer, a shed for them to store their belongings in, and a safe walkway installed for them to get to and from the trailer.

Despite our best efforts we haven’t been able to make all of this happen.

We would appreciate any and all help that we can get to make this happen and take this burden off of their shoulders.

Most of all, we ask for prayers that he make it through this. Tom is an amazing husband, father, grandfather and GREAT grandfather. Our only wish is to keep him comfortable, safe and of course around as long as we can!!
