I am a licensed mental health professional working with immigrant and refugee families in Washington State. Many of the individuals I support are navigating extreme barriers, including language challenges, employment instability, food insecurity, limited transportation, and restricted access to medical, dental, and mental health services. Because of their immigration status, many are not eligible for public assistance, leaving them with almost no safety net.
For ethical and safety reasons, I am keeping my identifying information and the specific demographics of the families I support discreet. The current political and social climate has made immigrant and refugee communities increasingly vulnerable, and protecting their confidentiality is both a professional obligation and a necessary safeguard. While certain details cannot be shared publicly, I am fully committed to transparency in how donated funds are used.
What Your Contribution Supports?
All donations go directly toward urgent, practical, and life-sustaining needs, including:
- Emergency food and hygiene supplies
- Safe transportation to medical and mental health appointments
- Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment programs for clients who cannot access services due to cost
- Temporary housing and essential household items
- Interpretation or translation support
- Urgent and complex dental care, including surgeries, extractions, implants, and medically necessary procedures
- Assistance with driving classes and licensing fees, helping clients secure transportation and employment
- Prescription glasses and vision care.
- Childcare support so parents can attend work, medical appointments, treatment, or job training.
