Alimenta la Solidaridad Lara es un programa que busca impactar en la desnutrición infantil en los sectores más vulnerables de nuestro estado Lara  en Venezuela

Somos un grupo de venezolanos comprometidos a poder impactar sobre las nuevas generaciones que se ven afectadas por diferentes problemas como la alimentación, que impiden su pleno desarrollo. Nuestro programa busca educar a la comunidad sobre cómo podemos alimentarnos en tiempos de crisis y cuáles pueden ser las opciones más económicas y nutritivas, asegurando así nuevas alternativas. Medimos y pesamos a los niños desde el primer día y hacemos un seguimiento mensual de su estado nutricional para asegurarnos de que están recibiendo la energía necesaria.

A través de las donaciones podremos suministrar el alimento necesario para la elaboración de un menú con alto contenido nutricional que se suministra a diario en los diferentes comedores que trabajamos, además de desarrollar un proceso para la sostenibilidad de programas que aporten educación y empoderamiento a las comunidades.

Iniciamos el programa en octubre del 2016 y en el  2020 estamos trabajando para llevarlos a los lugares con mayor dificultad de Lara.

Alimenta la Solidaridad

We are a group of Venezuelans committed to making an impact on the new generations that are affected by different issues such as malnutrition, which hinders their full development. Our program seeks to educate the community about how we can feed ourselves and others during times of crisis and what can be the most economical and nutritious options, thus ensuring new alternatives.

From the first day, we collect records from the children such as weight and height. This allows us to monitor their nutritional status every month to make sure they are receiving the necessary nutrients.

Through donations we will be able to provide the necessary food which will assist us in expanding our menu of high nutritional content that is provided on a daily basis in the dining rooms of the communities that we work. In addition to expanding our menu, donations will also contribute to developing a process to sustain programs that provide empowerment and education in communities.

We started the program back in October 2016.
Now, in 2020 we are working to bring the program to the most struggling areas in the state of Lara.
