Hi my name is Terry! I’ve recently lost my home in a divorce and access to my 2 small children with it. I’m able to see them a couple days a week but without a proper place for them to stay, sleep and live I can’t have them overnight. I’ve been struggling to catch up with bills child support and day care and have been unable to save a dime to go into finding a new home.
Between legal fees and hotel stays for several weeks I’ve just about burned through savings to the point I was forced to work through both of their birthdays. Along with losing my woodshop in my home which was a significant part of my income. I’ve also gained more bills and responsibilities that were once split.
Also, I need to take some time off work to do some court appointed “self care” and manage to keep up with all of this. I’ve been trying to keep up for a few months now but as my line of credit is reaching its end I have realized that I simply can’t.
I desperately need a head start at at least to get car seats, toys and places to sleep in my temporary home for them. Thanks you to everyone the chooses to help, I know there are people and causes more worthy and I will be eternally grateful for every cent.
