Our family and friends are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for support for our beloved John.

Recently, John underwent emergency open-heart surgery after suffering a life-threatening aortic dissection—a sudden and terrifying medical emergency that required immediate intervention to save his life. We are incredibly grateful that he survived, but his journey to recovery will be long and demanding. John faces months of therapy and rehabilitation, and the medical expenses related to this life-saving surgery are expected to reach six figures.

John is a devoted single father raising two teenage sons who depend on him for their care, stability, and support. For years, John has worked multiple jobs to provide for his family. Unfortunately, at the time of this medical emergency, John did not have health insurance through his employers. He is currently working with AHCCCS to gain coverage retroactively, but we do not have all insurance coverage questions answered yet.

As John focuses on healing, he is unable to work, making everyday living expenses and medical costs especially difficult to manage.

We are raising funds to help support John and his family during this critical time, including:

Hospital, surgical, and ICU bills related to the aortic dissection

Ongoing therapy, rehabilitation, follow-up care, and medications

Household and daily living expenses while John is unable to work

Our hope is to ease the financial burden so John can focus fully on recovery and being there for his children—without the constant worry of mounting medical debt overshadowing his healing.
