Stand with Brianna in Her Time of Need

Friends, I’ve set up this fundraiser for the young lady who is the most important person in my life: my 22-year old daughter, Brianna Sykes. On Friday, May 17, 2024, Bree was hiking in Southern California when she fell from a large rock, breaking her leg where the bone was protruding out of her leg just above the knee. She was airlifted out of the area for emergency surgery.

Bree had just moved into a new apartment, was working full time, and was on the road towards being a successful young lady on her own. This catastrophic injury has put this goal entirely in jeopardy!

As her father, there is nothing I would not give, nor any sacrifice I would gladly endure in order to help her. Unfortunately, my work has been nearly non-existent this year, causing me to scramble just to survive (and this just barely). More important than the feelings of shame and impotence I feel as a result of not being able to provide the assistance she so desperately needs, she is finding herself in a situation where she will likely lose everything she has worked so hard to achieve as an independent young woman. The prospect of this literally breaks my heart.

I certainly recognize that times are difficult for many, but humbly ask that for those who are able to please consider making a donation to this cause. All monies raised will go directly towards her treatment and day-to-day expenses as she goes through the lengthy recovery process.
