Dancing for our Heroes

I am a "celebrity" dancer in this year’s Dancing for Our Heroes event! Inspired by the popular television show “Dancing with the Stars,” this local interpretation put on by the Rotary Club of Greater Anderson allows teams to raise money for charities in Anderson County.

 

I will be dancing with Lisa O'Kelly this spring to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity. As many of you know, I am the Area Director of Sales for Paragon Hotels. Prior to that, I was the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Myers/Sanibel Hotel in Fort Myers, Florida. My wife and I relocated to Anderson in 2016. My wife and I are very honored to be a part of this community. We want to do whatever we can to help Anderson grow and remain a wonderful home for all families! It’s because of our commitment to this community that I am willing to step out of my comfort zones…and DANCE to raise much-needed funds for Habitat for Humanity!

 

Habitat for Humanity is a fantastic organization that I have volunteered for in the past. “Habitat offers a hand up – not a handout.” It is so rewarding to put in sweat equity and KNOW that you are helping to make dreams come true for a hardworking, deserving homeowner. Each new build comes with a story, and we get to see how hard homeowners work to build (literally) a better life for themselves and their families. Who wouldn’t feel moved to get involved knowing that, together with others, we are serving as the hands and feet of Christ for someone who could use a little help?

 

Please help me raise $9,000 by donating to impact affordable housing in Anderson County.

I know that we can reach this goal by working together – and even exceeding it! If everyone gives something, we can make a huge difference!
