Just over a month ago, my family’s life changed completely. My dad was diagnosed with leukemia, and since then, it has been a constant battle. He is the pillar of our family. Today, we see him fighting with all his strength, and we want to do everything possible to give him a chance to pull through.

My parents have an incredible love story. They have known each other since childhood, grew up as neighbors, started dating in middle school, and have been together for almost 46 years. From their love, a beautiful family was born: four children, 11 grandchildren, and a furry granddaughter, Lucy, whom many of you know and who misses him dearly. Theirs is the kind of love you only see in movies—the kind that withstands time, trials, and any storm. But this is, without a doubt, the hardest challenge we have ever faced.

Hace poco más de un mes, la vida de mi familia cambió por completo. A mi papá le detectaron leucemia, y desde entonces ha sido una batalla constante. Él es el pilar de nuestra familia. Hoy lo vemos luchar con todas sus fuerzas, y queremos hacer todo lo posible para que tenga una oportunidad de salir adelante.

Mis papás tienen una historia de amor increíble. Se conocen desde niños, crecieron como vecinos, fueron novios en la secundaria y han estado juntos casi 46 años.
