Hi, my name is Tara this family needs our help they are hardworking and talented individuals who need a helping hand to lift them and their spirits up . I can’t do it all on my own so can u give to this family and set aside a minute to read my description of what’s happening to them . It’s the short version it’s actually worse, too hard to explain it all.

Any new homeowner knows: owning a new home can be costly. When Azizi first went into buying her home, she had conditions for the house be updated: a roof, hot water, AC, and a working stove that wasn’t 100 years old. Some would say to a realtor “I can’t live without a pool.” Azizi required just the bare necessities—things her previous location did not have. In 2016, she purchased her home that had all the requirements that met her needs and more. However, shortly after buying her home, she noticed paint started peeling off all the walls and ceilings of every room. There are also plumbing and electrical problems, as well as hot water that only last long enough to wash dishes. No full shower with hot water. The plumbing problem continued to get worse. One year, it flooded toxic sewage water from her pipes and drainage onto her and her neighbors lawn! No one installed the P-trap. What in the f*** is a p-trap?! A p-trap is a vented P shaped pipe that blocks toxic foul-smelling sewer gases like methane from traveling through the pipe into your home. Imagine walking in to your own fairly new home and smelling sewage, faintly but enough to notice. You look around and see the paint peeling off of all your walls and ceiling, walking into your bathroom, turn on the water, and have no hot water to shower. Oh well Okay, nothing you can do about that. You go to your bedroom, attempt to turn on the lights, and, again, the lights are out in the house. You have to fumble around, trying to pick up and get clothes in the dark. The roof leaks in the back of your house. You have to check the bucket for water, praying that another storm doesn’t come through. Imagine walking with a bucket of water to the bathroom, daily and in the dark, hoping nothing is on the floor to trip over. You have to dump it in the toilet and wait in horror for it not to come back up all over your floors again. This is a day in the life of Azizi. It has been this way since the very beginning and she has tried to get justice but without a means to hire a lawyer. She can’t afford the legal fees. When I was asked to walk through and give an estimate, I was like “sure all fixable. All are pains in the ass to fix , but fixable none the less.  “I just can’t afford it,” she said to me when I gave her the estimate. I don’t normally make this type of request to the community . never for myself or for another person—but this situation makes me want to do every possible thing to help them be comfortable as I can. This family is so full of light, determination, and motivation. Mike, Azizi, and Israel all are very gifted individuals who support themselves on the side by selling their handcrafted items. Azizi has such a wonderful spirit; she doesn’t find pleasure in hurting anyone. She is very kind and can handle all the pressures of life with no problem. She works a full-time job. Anytime she is off—Israel and occasionally Mike ,”as well—Azizi goes to fundraisers and events and set up her booth. Both she and Israel, her son, sell their custom soap and lotions, handmade by Azizi, and natural gem stone bracelets—such beautiful craftsmanship. You can tell how much thought and effort Israel puts into these bracelets, and its minimalist style I personally love. Azizi sells fine soaps, essential oil infused, and her African black soap will clear your skin quick and in a hurry. Mike has a work station at home—truly amazing. He hand beads authentic Indian Mardi Gras head dresses and armors that are so cool: each bead has its own unique representation of Mike. They are outstanding. Together, we can help this family. Please, let’s put all of our effort into them. I believe they need this urgently and would greatly appreciate your donation. It doesn’t matter how much you give, you are donating to a family that is in trouble. That donation could be the reason they can get their roof repaired or install their air conditioner properly so the bill isn’t near $500 a month: an electrical panel that fits the size of their home so the lights can all work at once; a water heater that isn’t meant for a small camper so they have hot water for more than a minute. Their house is a beautiful home and all those problems are fixable, but after years of spending money on bills that are too high and major catastrophes, there is nothing left. They struggle, like we all do. They say: “you must give to receive.” It is in human nature to help. Please send your support and share this story. Share over and over if that’s all you can do right now. It will be a great help. It has been my pleasure to ask for your help. With it, this family can make a pathway to a better life. Thank you for reading! Please share!
