Trying Times for Young Stearns Family

We are the Family and Friends of the Matt Stearns family! We are raising money for this special young family because we love them dearly and, in trying times like these, this family has worked so hard to survive and even thrive despite their recent hard luck.  We are hoping that we can help them to achieve Matt's dream to provide for his family.  If you can help this young family, in any amount, they (and we) would be so thankful. 

Matt landed a great job teaching Math at a charter school! He was excited to move to the great state of Texas where things are so much more affordable for a young family.  Matt finished his finals at school in California and then boarded a plane to meet the movers. His wife and 3 babies were to fly to meet him after he had set up the house.  Beds to sleep in was the plan.

THEN, the moving driver's Dad dies (please pray for his family). Movers didn't communicate with Matt for 5 days.

Matt said, "We thought we had it ALL planned!".

Then life had a different plan.

Matt said, "I haven't seen my family for 10 days. Our plan was to buy a car once I got to Texas. I was looking for a car for commuting to work.  Somehow an envelope with $3700 (the car money we had saved) fell out of my pocket when I grabbed a call from my wife while picking up things for the house. No one has turned it in."

"Our furniture has not left California. It might leave Tuesday."
