María Italina Maradiaga —a quien todos con amor llamamos Mami Tali— es una mujer de 68 años que ha sido, por décadas, el corazón y el hogar de nuestra familia. Amorosa, fuerte, luchadora, y siempre pendiente del bienestar de todos, ha sido madre, abuela, guía y consuelo.

Hoy está enfrentando una de las batallas más difíciles de su vida: un diagnóstico de cáncer que aún se está confirmando con estudios y biopsias. Nos encontramos en una etapa delicada de exámenes médicos, hospitalizaciones y tratamientos que podrían incluir cirugías, quimioterapias y transfusiones.

Los gastos médicos han sido significativos hasta ahora, e irán aumentando con cada paso del proceso. Por eso hemos decidido abrir esta campaña con el corazón en la mano, para pedir el apoyo de quienes han sido tocados alguna vez por la generosidad y dulzura de Mami Tali.

María Italina Maradiaga—whom we all lovingly call Mami Tali—is a 68-year-old woman who has been, for decades, the heart and home of our family. A loving, strong, fighter, and always concerned about the well-being of everyone, she has been a mother, grandmother, guide, and comforter.

Today, she is facing one of the most difficult battles of her life: a cancer diagnosis that is still being confirmed with tests and biopsies. We are in a delicate phase of medical examinations, hospitalizations, and treatments that could include surgeries, chemotherapy, and transfusions. The medical expenses have been significant so far, and they will increase with each step of the process.
