Carolina, necesita ayuda para seguir viviendo

Hace 10 meses iniciamos este GoFundMe para ayudar a Carolina, Carola, como muchos le dicen. Entonces, Carola estaba luchando contra un tumor en el útero. La operación y tratamiento oncológico correspondiente a ese tumor fue completado, en gran medida, gracias al aporte de muchas personas que colaboraron en esta recolección. Pero HOY, cuando comienza el año 2024, Carolina y nosotros, su familia, necesita nuevamente de su apoyo; necesitamos más ayuda para seguir ayudándola a vivir.

A finales de noviembre 2023, Carolina recibió la noticia de metástasis en la columna vertebral y sufrió la fractura de 2 vertebras. Desde entonces, ha estado batallando contra el dolor y el cáncer. Pero para seguir pagando los tratamientos y consultas médicas, requiere de todos nosotros.

Carolina Beaujon de Rodríguez es una Farmacéutica venezolana de la UCV (Universidad Central de Venezuela), con una Maestría en Food Science de OSU (Oklahoma State University), con 45 años de experiencia laboral y un desempeño profesional de calidad y servicio tanto en Caracas como en Valencia Edo. Carabobo.

Desde siempre ha sido una persona solidaria y alegre que regala amor, apoyo y risas a quienes la rodean, su franqueza para vivir y relacionarse con otros hace del mundo un lugar mejor. Es esposa, madre, abuela, hermana, tía, madrina, amiga y colega y hoy necesita de nuestra ayuda para sanar y tener una vida productiva muchos años más.

En noviembre 2022 fue diagnosticada con CARCINOSARCOMA UTERINO ESTADIO 1A. Esta noticia sacudió a ella, su familia y seres queridos como un terremoto que llega de repente para cambiarlo todo. A principios de enero 2023 le practicaron una histerectomía total y le prescribieron tratamiento complementario de urgencia, el cual incluye seis(6) ciclos de quimioterapia y posteriormente un aproximado de 30 sesiones de radioterapia.

Como muchos ya saben, la situación socioeconómica en Venezuela es muy difícil, los tratamientos oncológicos y medicinas son sumamente costosos y su acceso a través del Sistema de Salud Pública es escaso. Adicionalmente las posibilidades de tener un seguro médico son casi imposibles para la mayoría de la población.

Carolina needs help to continue living

10 months ago we started this GoFundMe to help Carolina, Carola, as many call her. Then, Carola was fighting a tumor in her uterus.

The operation and oncological treatment corresponding to that tumor were completed, to a large extent, thanks to the contribution of many people who collaborated in this collection.

But TODAY, when the year 2024 begins, Carolina and her family need her support again; We need more help to continue helping her live.

Carolina Beaujon de Rodriguez is a Venezuelan Pharmacist from UCV (Universidad Central de Venezuela), with a Master's Degree in Food Science from OSU (Oklahoma State University), with 45 years of work experience and professional performance of quality and service both in Caracas and in Valencia Edo. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, godmother, friend, and colleague and today she needs our help to heal and have a productive life for many more years.

In November 2022, she was diagnosed with STAGE 1A UTERINE CARCINOSARCOMA. This news shook her, her family, and her loved ones like an earthquake that suddenly changed everything. At the beginning of January 2023, she underwent a total hysterectomy and was prescribed emergency complementary treatment, which includes six (6) cycles of chemotherapy and later approximately 30 radiotherapy sessions.

As many already know, the socioeconomic situation in Venezuela is very difficult, cancer treatments and medicines are extremely expensive and their access through the Public Health System is scarce. Additionally, the possibility of having medical insurance is almost impossible for the majority of the population.
