⸻ Con mucha humildad hoy me atrevo a pedir ayuda para apoyar a mi hermano Sergio Lango, quien fue detenido en Searcy, Arkansas. Él ya tiene dos meses en prisión, a raíz de una nueva ley implementada para los choferes de camiones pesados que exige hablar el idioma inglés. Lamentablemente, yo no puedo ayudarlo económicamente como quisiera, ya que me encuentro en tratamiento por cáncer de mama y soy la única familia que él tiene en Estados Unidos. En este momento estoy tratando de reunir fondos para pagarle un abogado que pueda defenderlo legalmente, ya que la intención de mi hermano es regresar a México, donde nuestra madre se encuentra muy grave de salud. Además, Sergio es padre de dos niñas que lo esperan y necesitan de él. Cualquier apoyo, por pequeño que sea, será de gran ayuda y profundamente agradecido. With great humility, today I dare to ask for help to support my brother, Sergio Lango, who was detained in Searcy, Arkansas. He has been in jail for two months due to a new law implemented for heavy truck drivers that requires them to speak English. Unfortunately, I am not able to help him financially as much as I would like, since I am currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer and I am the only family he has in the United States.

At this moment, I am trying to raise funds to pay for a lawyer who can defend him legally, as my brother’s intention is to return to Mexico, where our mother is very seriously ill. In addition, Sergio is the father of two young daughters who are waiting for him and need him.
