Hello, my name is Silvia Rendón, and today I'm sharing with you the difficult situation my family is currently facing.
On November 14th of this year, my husband was unexpectedly detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) authorities while parked near Sanford Airport. This was a profoundly shocking and painful moment for us, as we never imagined facing such a situation.
Our decision to emigrate to this noble country was due to a greater cause. In our country of origin, Venezuela, our lives were in grave danger, so we were forced to migrate legally to the United States, a nation for which we feel deep gratitude, as it opened its doors to us, provided us with security, and allowed us to start a new with hope.
Since our arrival, we have always lived honestly, respecting every law and actively contributing to the community of this country (the U.S.). My husband is a doctor and has dedicated his work to serving the community at AdventHealth Hospital, where he has served with dedication and commitment, helping those most in need.
More than two weeks have passed since his arrest, and although we remain steadfast in our faith, these have been days of immense change, uncertainty, and great challenges. We are a Venezuelan family with two children who, at such a young age, have had to face this difficult ordeal without fully understanding their father's apologetic absence.
My husband has always been the primary provider for our household and the cornerstone of our family—a hardworking, loving, faithful man with a huge heart. Today, I find myself alone with my two children, fighting for his return, my heart filled with hope.
For this reason, I appeal to your generosity and kindness, respectfully requesting your support through a financial donation. This will allow us to reunite our family and continue this fight with dignity, faith, and strength.

Hola, mi nombre es Silvia Rendon, y hoy me permito compartir con ustedes la difícil situación que atraviesa actualmente mi familia.
El día 14 de Noviembre del presente año, mi esposo fue detenido de manera sorpresiva por autoridades de Inmigración (ICE), mientras se encontraba estacionado en las inmediaciones del Aeropuerto de Sanford. Este hecho fue un momento profundamente impactante y doloroso para nosotros, ya que jamás imaginamos enfrentar una situación así.
Nuestra decisión de emigrar a este noble país se debió a una causa mayor. En nuestro país de origen, Venezuela, nuestras vidas se encontraban en grave peligro, por lo que nos vimos obligados a migrar de forma legal a los Estados Unidos, nación por la cual sentimos un profundo agradecimiento, ya que nos abrió sus puertas, nos brindó seguridad y nos permitió comenzar de nuevo con esperanza.
Desde nuestra llegada, siempre hemos vivido de manera honesta, respetando cada una de las leyes y aportando activamente a la comunidad de este país (E.U.). Mi esposo es médico y ha dedicado su trabajo al servicio de la sociedad, en el hospital de AdventHealth desempeñándose con vocación y entrega, ayudando a quienes más lo necesitan.
Han pasado ya más de dos semanas desde su detención, y aunque nos mantenemos firmes en nuestra fe, estos han sido días de inmensos cambios, incertidumbre y grandes desafíos. Somos una familia Venezolana con dos hijos, quienes a tan corta edad, han tenido que enfrentar esta difícil prueba sin comprender del todo la ausencia repentina de su papá.
Mi esposo ha sido siempre el principal sustento de nuestro hogar y el pilar fundamental de nuestra familia, un hombre trabajador, amoroso, de fe y con un gran corazón. Hoy me encuentro sola con mis dos hijos, luchando por su regreso y con el corazón lleno de esperanza.
Por esta razón, recurro a su generosidad y buen corazón, solicitando de manera muy respetuosa su apoyo mediante una donación económica, que nos permita lograr unir a nuestra familia de nuevo y nos permita continuar esta lucha con dignidad, fe y fortaleza.
