Ayúdanos a construir una escuela en Uganda!

Somos un grupo de 8 estudiantes del Colegio Bell-lloc del Pla (Girona) que en breve terminaremos 2º de Bachillerato. Para celebrar el final de una etapa, hemos decidido hacer algo diferente. Algo que marque nuestras vidas y, sobre todo, que pueda marcar la de otras personas también.

Este verano iremos a Uganda, a una pequeña comunidad donde una escuela lucha por seguir funcionando en condiciones muy precarias. Paredes agrietadas, sin luz, sin agua corriente y con materiales casi inexistentes. Pero llena de vida, de niños dispuestos a aprender.

Así pues, queremos ir allí, y darles la oportunidad de aprender, ya que todo el mundo la merece. Nuestra función allí será la de reformar la escuela, llevar materiales educativos, pintar, reparar lo que haga falta y, sobre todo, compartir tiempo, energía y aprendizaje con la comunidad. Pero no podemos hacerlo solos. Necesitamos vuestra ayuda, ya que el material de construcción sale de nuestros bolsillos.

¿Pero, por qué lo hacemos? Porque creemos que el mundo se cambia con pequeños gestos. Porque tenemos la suerte de poder elegir, y elegimos comprometernos con una causa que importa. No queremos solo ser turistas, queremos ser parte de algo que construye.

We are a group of 8 students from the Bell-lloc del Pla school (Girona) who will soon finish the Pre-university studies. To celebrate the end of this stage, we have decided to do something different. Something that will mark our lives and, above all, could also make a difference in the lives of others.

This summer, we will go to Uganda, to a small community where a school is struggling to continue operating under very precarious conditions. Cracked walls, no electricity, no running water, and almost no materials. But full of life, with children eager to learn.

So, we want to go there and give them the opportunity to learn, because everyone deserves it. Our role there will be to renovate the school, bring educational materials, paint, repair what is needed, and above all, share time, energy, and learning with the community. But we can't do it alone. We need your help, as the construction materials come out of our own pockets.

But why are we doing this? Because we believe the world can be changed with small gestures. Because we are lucky to be able to choose, and we choose to commit to a cause that matters. We don't want to just be tourists; we want to be part of something that builds.
