I am facing one of the most difficult moments of my life. My husband, Edwin Andres Olarte, with whom I have built our small family business Service Express, is currently being held by immigration. His detention happened unexpectedly while he was at work, fulfilling his responsibilities. In just one moment, our lives were turned upside down.

Service Express has been our family’s main source of income and the result of years of effort and dedication. On top of this, we have the responsibility of caring for our two children: a 1-year-old baby and a 13-year-old teenager, who need stability, love, and their father at home.

Andres is a hardworking, honest, and kind man. He has always been willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, whether personally or through his work at Service Express, where many customers recognize him for his professionalism, dedication, and generous spirit. His absence not only affects us as a family, but is also deeply felt in the community that values his work.

The funds raised will be used to:

• Cover legal fees and immigration processes.

• Support our family’s basic needs and the well-being of our children during this difficult time.

Queridos amigos y comunidad,

Hoy me encuentro en una situación muy difícil. Mi esposo Edwin Andres Olarte, con quien juntos hemos construido nuestro pequeño negocio familiar Service Express, está actualmente detenido por inmigración. Su detención ocurrió de manera inesperada, mientras él se encontraba trabajando y cumpliendo con sus responsabilidades. Fue un momento duro e injusto que nos cambió la vida de un instante a otro.

Este negocio ha sido nuestro medio de sustento y el fruto de mucho esfuerzo. Además, tenemos a nuestro cuidado a nuestros dos hijos: un bebé de 1 año y un adolescente de 13 años, quienes necesitan estabilidad, amor y la presencia de su papá en casa.

Quiero contarles que Andres es un hombre trabajador, honesto y muy servicial. Siempre ha estado dispuesto a tenderle la mano a quien lo necesite, ya sea en su vida personal o a través de Service Express, donde muchos clientes lo reconocen por su dedicación, profesionalismo y espíritu solidario. Su ausencia no solo nos afecta como familia, también se siente en la comunidad que tanto valora su trabajo.

Los fondos recaudados serán utilizados para:

• Cubrir los honorarios legales y trámites migratorios.

• Ayudar con los gastos básicos de nuestra familia y las necesidades de nuestros hijos en este momento tan difícil.
