Mi papá es el pilar de nuestra familia. Es un hombre trabajador, responsable y un papá amoroso que siempre ha estado para nosotros. Él es quien nos da fuerzas, quien nos cuida y quien siempre pone a su familia primero. Su ausencia ha dejado un silencio muy grande en nuestro hogar y un dolor que no se puede explicar con palabras.

Cada día sin mi papá es muy difícil. Mi hermano y yo lo extrañamos en casa, en las comidas, en las conversaciones y en los abrazos que tanto necesitamos. Ver a mi familia pasar por este momento ha sido muy duro, especialmente para mí como hija.

El 4 de febrero, mi papá tendrá su audiencia final. Actualmente, la fianza fue fijada en $50,000, una cantidad que está fuera de nuestro alcance. Nuestro abogado se encuentra en proceso de apelación para que la fianza sea reducida, ya que fue establecida como si mi papá hubiera cometido un crimen, cuando en realidad su caso es únicamente migratorio.

El número de caso de mi papá es 201546511. Todo el dinero recaudado será utilizado únicamente para pagar la fianza y los gastos relacionados con su proceso migratorio.

Every day without my dad is very difficult. My brother and I miss him at home, at the dinner table, in our conversations, and in the hugs we need so much. Watching my family go through this has been incredibly hard, especially for me as his daughter.

On February 4, my father will have his final hearing. His bond was set at $50,000, an amount far beyond our financial reach. Our attorney is currently appealing for a bond reduction, as it was set as if my father had committed a crime, when in reality his case is strictly an immigration matter.

My father’s case number is 201546511. All funds raised will be used solely to pay the bond and cover expenses related to his immigration case.
