Hola a todos, por favor ayudemos a Gracie y sus dos hijos de 4 y 2 añitos a salir de donde esta. Mi amiga ha sido victima de violencia domestica por muchos años y su ex pareja llego una madrugada a su casa y la golpeo de tal manera que termino en el hospital. Ella vive en Texas y no tiene familiares que la ayuden. Su ex y la familia de el la han acosado y la han amenazado de muerte, ella teme por su vida y la de sus hijos. Cuando el la golpeo en la madrugada del dia 4 de Agosto Gracie puso la denuncia a la policia y el hombre fue capturado pero el dia 6 de Agosto lo dejaron salir bajo fianza debido al Covid. Ahora mas que nunca ella teme por su vida porque el le dijo que la hiba a matar, que la hiba a cortar en pedazos y enterrarla donde nadie jamas la hiba a encontrar. Ella salio de su casa sin zapatos, sin nada ni de ella ni de sus hijos y esta escondida, no quiere regresar a su casa porque teme por su vida. Se que todos estamos pasando una situacion dificil con el covid pero les pido que colaboren con un poquito para ayudarla a salir de ese lugar y que esta familia pueda tener un nuevo comienzo libre de miedo e incertidumbre. No dejemos que ella sea una mas de las miles de mujeres que terminan muertas a manos de hombres sin escrupulos. La policia no la ayudara ni la protejera pero tu y yo podemos hacer la diferencia en ella y sus hijitos. Ni una Mas!

My friend has been a victim of domestic violence for many years and her ex-partner came home one morning and beat her in such a way that she ended up in the hospital. She lives in Texas and has no relatives to help her. Her ex and his family have harassed her and threatened her with death, she fears for hers and her children’s life. When he hit her in the early morning of August 4, Gracie made a police report and the man was captured, but on August 6 they let him out on bail due to Covid. Now more than ever she is afraid and fears for her life because he told her that he was going to kill her, that he was going to cut her into pieces and bury her where no one would ever find her. She left her house without shoes, without anything for her or her children and is in hiding, she does not want to return home because she fears for her life. I know that we are all going through a difficult situation due to the pandemic but I ask you to dig deep in your heart and help her with any amount you can. They need to get out of that place so they can start a new life free of fear and uncertainty. Let's not let her be one of the thousands of women who end up dead at the hands of unscrupulous men. The police will not help or protect her but you and I can make a difference in this family.
