Les escribo en nombre de Natividad Sánchez Nava, madre de Emir Estrada Sánchez, para apoyarlos recaudando fondos para este momento tan difícil, recientemente perdio a su otro hijo de 13 años en el mes de mayo.

Emir fue recientemente hospitalizado por náuseas persistentes y fatiga extrema. El viernes de la semana pasada, Emir sufrió convulsiones inesperadamente, lo que causó que su cerebro se inflamara. Él se encuentra bajo observación intensiva en el UCSF Children’s Hospital. Los doctores se encuentran realizando pruebas rigurosas para encontrar el motivo que causa las convulsiones. Actualmente, los doctores están tratándolo bajo el diagnóstico de meningoencefalitis. Aunque Emir ha mostrado pequeñas señales de estabilidad en esta semana pasada, su condición aún es crítica y requiere de cuidados continuos y persistentes.

I’m writing on behalf of Natividad Sanchez Nava, mother of Emir Estrada Sanchez, to help raise funds for this very difficult time.

Emir was recently hospitalized due to persistent nausea and extreme fatigue. On Friday of last week, he unexpectedly began to experience seizures which caused inflammation in his brain. Emir is under intensive observation in the UCSF Children’s hospital. The medical experts are undergoing extensive testing to understand what triggered the seizures. At this time, doctors are treating him under a leading diagnosis of meningoencephalitis. Although Emir has shown small signs of stability over the past week, his condition is still critical and he requires continuous, around-the-clock care.

We urgently request your prayers and financial support. Any contribution, however small, will provide much-needed relief to the family. Your generosity will help ease the burden as they focus on Emir’s healing and recovery.
