Ayuda a nuestro centro budista a renovar su nuevo espacio

(English below) ¡Hola! Somos el centro budista de Ontinyent y nos gustaría contar con tu ayuda para construir un nuevo hogar para nuestro centro de dharma.

Nos avalan 40 años de experiencia, durante los cuales hemos ofrecido innumerables enseñanzas budistas que han beneficiado a toda persona que ha pasado por nuestro centro. Son cuarenta años de ofrecer meditación, regulación emocional, paz interior y conexiones genuinas. Hemos desarrollado una comunidad nutrida e inclusiva que trabaja para el bienestar y la felicidad de todos, budistas o no. Y ahora vamos a dar este paso importante: trasladarnos a un nuevo espacio más accesible, más grande, con más visibilidad, a pie de calle y al alcance de todos.

Estos últimos 40 años hemos estado en un apartamento pequeño en un cuarto piso sin ascensor, ubicado en una zona poco transitada y poco accesible de Ontinyent. A pesar de esas condiciones poco favorables, hemos conseguido crecer, pero ahora aspiramos a algo mejor. El año pasado tuvimos la suerte de dar con el lugar perfecto, un local grande, luminoso, a pie de calle, y con acceso a un patio interior ajardinado. Lo compramos, y desde entonces hemos estado trabajando en el espacio con varias jornadas de voluntariado a la semana, dándolo todo.

No obstante, a pesar de nuestro esfuerzo energético y económico y de la generosidad de todos aquellos que han contribuido, hemos llegado a un punto en el que el trabajo voluntario no basta: necesitamos contratar profesionales. Tu donativo servirá para terminar la construcción y renovación del espacio y poner en marcha un centro de dharma con más capacidad de beneficiar a los seres.

El local anterior nos limitaba. No podíamos, por ejemplo, ofrecer actividades para personas mayores, personas con discapacidades o niños. Con el nuevo local podremos ofrecer los beneficios del budismo a todos ellos. Además, con más accesibilidad, visibilidad, y espacio, podremos llegar a más gente en general. Queremos ofrecer el nuevo centro budista como una isla de paz y bondad en medio de este mundo caótico. Ayúdanos a hacerlo posible.

¡Hello! We are the Buddhist Center at Ontinyent and we'd like your help for building a new home for our dharma space in the town's heart.

We're backed by 40 years of experience, during which we've offered countless Buddhist teachings that have benefited everyone who has visited our center. These are 40 years of offering meditation, emotional regulation, inner peace, and genuine connections. And now we're taking this important step: moving to a new, larger, more accessible space with greater visibility, at street level, and accessible to all.

For the past 40 years, we've been in a small apartment on a fourth floor walk-up, located in a low-traffic and inaccessible area of ​​Ontinyent. Despite these unfavorable conditions, we've managed to grow, but now we're aiming for something better. Last year, we were fortunate enough to find the perfect location: a large, bright space at street level with access to a landscaped interior courtyard. We bought it, and since then, we've been working in the space, volunteering several days a week, giving it our all.

However, despite our energetic and financial efforts and the generosity of all those who have contributed, we have reached a point where volunteer work is not enough: we need to hire professionals. Your donation will help complete the construction and renovation of the space and launch a Dharma center with greater capacity to benefit sentient beings.

The previous location limited us. We couldn't, for example, offer activities for the elderly, people with disabilities, or children. With the new location, we will be able to offer the benefits of Buddhism to all of them. Furthermore, with greater accessibility, visibility, and space, we will be able to reach more people in general. We want to offer the new Buddhist center as an island of peace and goodness in the midst of this chaotic world. Help us make this possible.
