Comida Calientita, una A.C. que desde 2016 ha alimentado a miles de personas migrantes en Tijuana, está en riesgo de desaparecer.

La gentrificación —que obligó al proyecto a mudarse a un espacio donde ya no pudo sostenerse como restaurante— y la falta de apoyo gubernamental dejaron a la organización sin los fondos necesarios para continuar.

Hoy pido el apoyo de todas las personas que han conocido y acompañado este esfuerzo: estudiantes, profesorxs, activistas, periodistas, políticxs, empresarixs y aliadxs.

Su contribución es vital para cubrir renta, servicios, combustible y, sobre todo, los ingredientes que permiten seguir preparando los tamales calientes que reciben a quienes llegan a la frontera norte de México con el sueño de cruzar.

Además, Comida Calientita está organizando dos posadas para familias migrantes en los albergues Embajadores de Jesús y Pro Amore Dei.

Tu apoyo hará posible que estas celebraciones de comunidad, dignidad y solidaridad no se cancelen.

Comida Calientita, a nonprofit organization that since 2016 has fed thousands of migrant people in Tijuana, is at risk of disappearing.

Gentrification—which forced the project to move to a space where it could no longer be sustained as a restaurant—and the lack of government support have left the organization without the funds needed to continue.
