AYLESBURY WOMBLES

Set up in June 2019 by local teenager Abigail and her Dad Richard after seeing how much rubbish is discarded and being concerned about the damage it was doing to our environment. Aylesbury Wombles were formed and has gone from strength to strength. What started with 2 Wombles to now having around 25/30 people volunteer at our organised picks and numerous others who 'solo' womble.

We regularly meet to litterpick areas around our town to make it a nicer place to live. Our favourite saying is
‘It’s not our rubbish but it is our town’

We are looking to raise money to buy additional equipment so that more people can assist us in our mission to have a positive impact on our environment.
