Family and friends,

I am excited to announce that I have been selected for a medical mission trip to Haiti this June, through the International Service Learning Program at Howard University College of Medicine. I will be traveling with physicians, surgeons, nurses, dentists and other fellow medical students to provide aid to the underserved population in Fort Liberté, Haiti.

I am currently a 3rd year medical student who has a strong interest in International Medicine, and who believes in helping underserved populations. I'm confident that this trip will allow me to build on these interests, while also allowing me to make a difference.  This service trip is especially special to me because I am of Haitian origin. It has always been a dream of mine to give back to my country, and  it makes it even more special that I will be able to utilize my skills that I've acquired as a medical student to provide aid to those who need it most. 

With that said, I need your help! Please help me make this service trip a reality. I am forever grateful for the unwavering support I've received thus far while on this journey, and I ask that you continue with the support by donating. This fund will cover my flight, lodging, food and transportation while on the trip. Any small donation helps!
