Hi, my name is Adrian Padilla and I’m helping my son Ayden raise funds for his Eagle Scout Service Project.
Ayden is a Life Scout with Troop 800 in Chula Vista, California, and is working toward the highest rank in Scouting—Eagle Scout. For his project, Ayden is partnering with the City of Chula Vista to build and install bat boxes at a local park to help support our native bat population and promote natural mosquito control.
Why Bat Boxes?
Bats are an important part of our ecosystem. One bat can eat up to 1,000 mosquitoes in a single night! By installing bat boxes in city parks, Ayden’s project will provide safe, sustainable shelter for bats and encourage eco-friendly pest management.
How You Can Help:
Ayden is seeking donations to cover the cost of:
Wood and materials for the bat boxes
Hardware and mounting supplies
Safety gear and tools
Signage to educate the public
Every dollar helps, and any funds raised above the project cost will be donated back to the troop for service project efforts.
This project is more than a requirement—it’s a way for Ayden to give back to his community, develop leadership skills, and leave a lasting impact on local parks and wildlife.
Thank you for supporting Ayden and helping him take this meaningful step on his Scouting journey!
