I am fundraising on behalf of my friend Ayat in Indonesia. He has been a refugee there for many years and hopes to bring his sisters and parents with him when he can be sponsored to come to Canada. As refugees there, they face heavy discrimination and are not allowed to work. Unfortunately, the support that they receive from the government is being cut, and they are being forced to leave their home. They are in dire need of help to afford a new place to live. By raising just $1200, we can provide them with a home for a whole year. We know the adverse effects of homelessness, so please consider giving any amount you can to help support this family and stop them from becoming homeless.
