Unexpected death of mother of 7

In 2014 our mother Stephanie was a victim of an assault which left her in the ICU for several weeks. As a result of the crime it has been  determined that there was a cerebral hemorrhage (bleeding inside the brain). Once she was cleared to return home she continued to have periodic seizures. A few months later she was found unconscious and seizing. Due to irregular hyperactive brain activity, she was medically induced into a coma in hopes to stop the seizures. Because of the loss of oxygen to the brain our mother has remained in a vegetative state for the last 5 years. As of January 10th she has suddenly passed away. leaving behind 7 children. Our mother showed us unconditional love, taught us to be compassionate, caring and strong individuals. She was  Registered Nurse who loved her profession of caring for others. Our mother was the most selfless person. The well being of others always had priority over herself. As a guardian of the 4 minor children she left behind, I struggle to make ends meet. My family and I are asking for donations to help pay for expenses. We will greatly appreciate any and every donation.
