We are an incorporated non-profit located in the North End of Winnipeg, on a mission to feed the community!

Utilizing culinary arts students, community members re-entering the workforce, and volunteers, the CHU Community Kitchen upcycles perfectly good food that would otherwise gone to the landfill for esthetic reasons, into delicious meals for those in need.

the COVID 19 pandemic has increased food insecurity exponentially, and as a result we have been working diligently to create new solutions like alternative currency models (pay what you can or pay it forward), and providing agency outreach workers with food to distribute to families in need.

We are so incredibly grateful for this opportunity to feed the community, and for all of the support we have received so far, because we are stronger together and together we will make a larger impact! Thank you all for sharing and donating to our project!
