Support Alison's Journey to Recovery

Happy Mother’s Day weekend to all! I hope this reaches everybody in wonderful graces. I’m introducing my very dear friend Alison, but I don’t have to introduce her to too many. She’s a presence all of her own and very unique to every life she’s blessed around her. In need of dire care, her family has been by her side for the past month and a half, and unfortunately, she’s going to need some help to keep her household.

Close to a month ago now, Alison fell very sick and was rushed to the hospital. They quickly ran tests on her to figure out that she was in acute liver failure. This came as a total shock to her and her family. She was soon transferred to Westchester Medical Center in White Plains, NY, four hours away from her home. She has since spent her time there working closely with an amazing team of doctors and nurses. Her health was declining all around, until they decided to put her top priority on the transplant donor list. Within the next 50 hours, she fortunately received a donor match and quickly went into liver transplant surgery. She is now recovering at Westchester and working closely with physical therapy to help her body move after being bedridden.

We are asking for donations for things like her everyday bills, as she will be out of work for a very long recovery period, and to aid in paying her medical bills. Anything helps and is much appreciated.
