Help make the holiday season brighter with the gift of generosity for grieving children and families. The AWC Grief Family Support Fund helps grieving families who are receiving support from AWC Grief Support Inc. and experiencing financial strain in regards to purchasing gifts, food, therapy sessions and resources with financial assistance. This program is open to families of all backgrounds and traditions.

1 in 14 children in Canada will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the time they turn 18. The death of a parent or sibling has been found to be one of the most stressful life events that a child or youth can experience (Children and Youth Grief Network, 2023). Every year, one child in every classroom is bereaved (Canadian Alliance for Children's Grief, 2023).
