The last couple of years have been, without a doubt, the hardest both physically, mentally, and emotionally.

If you don't know our story, I'll give you a little insight.

Two years ago to the day, both my husband and I experienced pain and heartbreak like no one ever should. My brother was shot, his sister was shot; they both were in two different places. My brother survived; however, his sister did not.

Since this tragic and devastating event in our lives, we have gone through hell trying to stay healthy, alive, and sane.

I lost my job a couple of months after. Our dog (his sister's dog) that we took in had a cancerous tumor. He lost his job and has been denied three times for SSI. My other brother has cancer and isn't doing well.

As you can see, we have taken one blow after another. It's like it just hasn't stopped. In the midst of all this going on, we have fallen so far behind in everything, and now we're on the brink of being homeless.

I recently got a job offer that I took, working as a medical biller from home. It doesn't start until the 3rd of November, and my first check will not be until the 21st. I cannot work without a home, power, or internet.

Please find it in your hearts to help. Every little bit will help. We are highly embarrassed about the way our lives have played out to this point. But, it's time to put any pride we still have aside and ask for help.
