Avon Avenue School Juneteenth Carnival

The Second Annual Juneteenth Carnival at Avon Avenue School is happening on June 16, 2023 and we need your help!

On June 16th we will be holding a Juneteenth Carnival for over 500 Kindergarten through 8th grade students at Avon Avenue School in Newark, NJ. The event will include food, games, and fun carnival activities. It could not be made possible without the support of our community!

Please consider donating any amount you are comfortable with. All donations will go directly to the cost of the carnival which will include inflatables, prizes, a photo booth, face painting and more! Let's celebrate Juneteenth and make this a great day for the kids.

Also, if you have any unused toys or gift items we would be more than happy to use them as part of the give-away baskets for the students and teachers. These items can be dropped off at 25 Wordsworth Road, Short Hills.

We will be looking for volunteers for the day of the event and will be sending a sign-up genius soon.
