In Memory of Ava

Hey everyone,

As you all know by now our friends Courtney and Trevor  are at the bedside of their beautiful daughter as she fights an uphill battle against a brutal infection in her blood. The family are all in Edmonton and will remain there with Ava for the forseeable future.  Here is a message from Courtney:

"It has been one of longest days of my life, full a range of emotions that I can not explain. A day you don't ever think will happen to you, a day you wish upon no one.

Ava was medivaced to Edmonton after it was discovered that there was an infection in her blood. That spread to her organs. A team came to Yellowknife and brought her here while Trevor and I traveled seperate. When we arrived we were greated by a large team and given news no parents ever want to hear.

I am hopeful. I am positive and I am strong. Thank you for all your texts and calls. It has meant a lot."

Ava is a warrior but she needs all of our love and support now more than ever. Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated.
