Autumn Grace was loved tenderly and fully every day of her life. Her smile warmed the souls of her parents and big brother Liam at every turn. Last Friday morning, there was a terrible accident that claimed her life. The memories, giggles, and adventures of the last two years was just not long enough and will leave everyone she met wanting more. So many of us are left asking "why?" and yet, maybe asking "why" is not where our energy and resources are best spent.
No Momma or Dad should ever have to stress about how funerals will be paid for to bury their baby. And so I'm asking friends, family and even complete strangers whose hearts are crushed by this tragedy to give to help cover these impossibly unexpected expenses; so that Chance, Megan and Liam and the rest of the family can focus on grieving, loving and beginning the healing journey. This family has grown and worked through pain before, and now we're just trying to provide a tangible way to help them in the midst of this dark season.
Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed."
Autumn's Celebration of Life will be Thursday, 9/28/2017- at Christ Community Church, Lawrence, KS. This is also Autumn's 2nd birthday, so please celebrate her life and remember them in prayer. Details on service to follow
This is the official Go Fund Me approved by Chance and Megan. All money will go directly to cover funeral and family expenses.
