Hola, somos Eva, Ayla, Victor y Pablo. Vivimos actualmente en un pueblo del norte de Burgos que quedó abandonado y que llevamos rehabilitando desde hace más de cinco años.

En el pueblo no tenemos acceso a Red Eléctrica y hasta ahora hemos funcionado con unas placas solares que abastecen a dos viviendas. Durante los meses de Otoño-Invierno, cuando los días son nublados y las noches más largas apenas estamos consiguiendo tener energía suficiente y estable para tener iluminación en casa.

Nuestra intención es fijar población en el pueblo y que lleguen más familias y niños a este entorno natural, saludable y protegido que estamos creando. Para ello, estamos terminando de construir una tercera vivienda. Esto implica también que las necesidades energéticas van a aumentar.

Nuestra idea es combinar la Energia Solar (que ya tenemos) con la Eólica, instalando un mini aerogenerador de 1500w que nos proporcionaría la energía suficiente.

Estimamos que el coste aproximado de la instalación del sistema eólico (aerogenerador, poste, cable, baterias, alternador, conversor y reguladores de carga así como la propia instalación) será de unos 4500 Euros.

Hello, we are Eva, Ayla, Victor and Pablo. We are the inhabitants of Valmayor, an old abandoned village in the north of Burgos that we are restoring since more than five years ago.

In the village we dont have access to the electrical network and until this moment we have been depending on solar panels for our energy supply. During the autumn and winter months, when the days are grim and nights are longer, we barely have enough energy to maintain basic lighting.

Our intention for this village is for it to grow and to live together with more families in this natural environment where our kids can grow up healthy and free. In pursue of this dream, we are about to finish a third house. This means that the energy consumption of the village as a whole will go up.

Our idea to be able to meet the energetic needs of all the inhabitants is to combine the existing solar energy installation with wind energy, installing a little windmill of 1500w which will produce enough energy to meet the needs of everyone here (and yet to come) during the entire year.

We estimate that the costs of the installation (windmill, post, cable, battery, alternator, converter and regulators) will be around 4500 Euros.
