Want to join me in making a difference? On 20th September, I’ll be climbing Mount Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, to raise money for Autism West Midlands — a cause that means the world to me.
This isn’t just a personal challenge; it’s a way for me to give back and raise awareness for something incredibly close to my heart.
Over the past few years, I’ve watched my nephew face daily struggles that many people never see. From sensory overload to difficulties with routine, his journey is one filled with quiet battles and incredible resilience. He’s an amazing little boy — full of life, curiosity, and strength — but the world often doesn’t make things easy for him.
I’ve also witnessed the long, emotional journey my brother and sister-in-law have taken just to get him the support he needs. Getting an autism diagnosis isn’t quick or simple. It’s been a path filled with delays, uncertainty, and constant advocacy on their part — all while trying to be the best parents they can be.
That’s why I’m climbing Snowdon: to raise funds and awareness for Autism West Midlands, a charity that supports families like theirs every single day. They offer practical advice, specialist help, and a vital community for people affected by autism — and they do it with compassion, knowledge, and real care.
By donating, you’ll be helping Autism West Midlands continue to:
• Support children and adults with autism across the region
• Provide advice and workshops for parents and carers
• Offer community services and support workers
• Advocate for better understanding and inclusion
No family should have to face this journey alone, and thanks to organisations like Autism West Midlands, they don’t have to.
Please consider supporting me in this climb — whether it’s through a donation or simply by sharing this page. Every single pound helps, and I’ll be thinking of my nephew with every step I take toward that summit.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
